Hello!

After graduating with a Creative Writing degree from Missouri State University, I joined BKD CPAs & Advisors (now FORVIS) as a Writer and Editor, where I spent nearly four years leading the company's digital magazine, BKD Life. In addition to interviewing professionals from around the firm and transforming experiences into inspirational stories, I crafted and reviewed content for all internal and external communications to inform our audiences and increase brand awareness. 

While at Missouri State, I served as a Fiction Editor with Moon City Review. 

My flash fiction piece, "Miranda," was a finalist for The Southampton Review's 2020 Short Short Fiction Prize, featuring guest judge Amy Hempel.
